From Ali, Holloway Weaving

I met Carol when she started coming for weaving classes with me in 2015 and then for 5 years she came pretty much every week and we quickly became friends. I’d look forward so much to our weekly sessions where we would talk, laugh and weave, (not enough weaving as we’d be talking too much). We’d update each other on what had been happening in our lives, the exploits of our children, the exhibitions, films we’d seen, places we’d been to, we felt connected to each others lives. Carols warmth and lovely spirit entranced everyone who met her and this lightness of touch translated into the delicate and beautiful weavings she produced. I feel so lucky to have met her and to have spent such special times with her.
