Not sure who will read this, hope someone does! In the process of looking for something else, I came across this beautiful website and realised that Carol was my late godmother Jill’s daughter. Jill was my mother’s best friend, from boarding school at the age of 8. I remember meeting Carol at Jill’s funeral, and thinking how remarkable like Jill she was, kind, gentle, softly spoken, smiley! I’m so sad to read that she passed away, what a huge loss.
Mum is still with us, aged 85, and remembers Jill, Robin and family with great fondness.
