From Nicoletta Command

Carol is sitting in my kitchen, sipping tea on a wet morning at the end of summer 2004. Henry is wriggling on Carol’s lap, Matteo is a couple of months old and she has made him a small quilt to lie on. It’s unequivocally a Carol creation: beautifully made with muted colours, a subtle pattern in the weave of the cotton, a delicately contrasting edge. It contains the understated beauty that she wears within and without, with which she touches everyone in a way that is unique to them, with an innate ability to find the flow of connection.
We chat and laugh, it’s a time of hope and possibilities and we rejoice in the plump limbs of our children.

I have found more pictures of Carol than I thought I had. Here she is, literally in full swing during a weekend camping in Epping forest.

Much love to all who were so lucky to know her and especially to Sebastian, Edie and Henry.
