Ben had told me a lot about his new mischievous work mate Seb.

I met Seb first on the stairs, he was in full swing and I was slightly unnerved

by the mix of his ferocious virile humour accompanied by a strange effeminate voice,

so I left the boys to lark around and carried on up to the top front room.

 

And there she was, Carol.

In her mothers Beret, effortlessly stylish and calm, with an immediate warmth and open friendliness.

Down to earth rippling humour and sunny disposition.

I had found a friend for life.

I thought to myself “how the hell did HE manage to hook Carol ! Seb has just got very lucky ”………

and he had, and so had she – the rest is history.
