From Chris Fenton
The front door of our house in Dalton. It’s not the whole family as Kim is absent, but I love it nonetheless as there is something very light between mum and dad and Nick looking up at them. Peter and Carol are sitting together on the steps and that’s me in the Hull City shirt. I think it is 1980. Carol would have been a student in Leeds.
This one was taken on Christmas Day 2019 at Peter and Lisa’s house in Scotland. We had a big family gathering although Nick and Winnie and their kids couldn’t make it because they were in Australia. I think the stripey top may have been a Christmas present for Edie. At the back on the settee is Lisa and her son Louie, on the right is my wife, Claire and my middle son, Josh.
This one of Carol is from a Scottish holiday, probably Loch Sween on the west coast near Crinan. It would be in the mid ‘70s I reckon. We had a boat and Dad would take us out on the water, so that Carol and Kim and Peter could water ski on the loch.
Edie and Carol on Christmas Day walk 2019. Edie carrying Prosecco and plastic cups.
Edie, Carol and Claire, who was later to swim in the cold loch, on the same walk.

Hello Chris
I just wanted to say how moved I was by your exquisite poem this afternoon. My thoughts are with you both.
