From Hannah Smith

When I think of Carol….. I think of whispering catch-ups while watching Henry and Joe’s Christmas concerts and assemblies.

Long coffee and conversations in D’oree talking about all sorts of things – Carol would bring some carefully chosen bits and bobs of Edie’s for Holly and I’d bring a spare tomato plant or two.

A lovely Summer holiday visit to Lauzerte, playing Uno on the patio – Sharples rules I didn’t even know existed!

A beautiful Summer morning this year in the Glenarm Garden, doing what we do, nattering over coffee and croissants and hatching a plan for the next meet up. Laughing as we did ‘marshmallow’ hugs! Henry came to say hello and I left them, smiling in the sunshine at the garden gate.
