From Heather Richardson
I met Carole at St Joseph’s – a courageous woman, keen to make a difference despite all that she was coping with personally and an extraordinary force for change. She had recently become a compassionate neighbour and we became friendly as we shared a passion for that initiative. Carole was always inspirational. Many people will say that I am sure. But she was also unafraid to challenge me if she felt I was making a mistake; or failing to step up as I should. Her belief in compassionate neighbours as a concept has kept me involved and will do so in the future. I send my condolences to her family who I can only believe will be remarkable if she has been part of their life and they part of hers.
Thank you Carole for being part of mine. I won’t forget you.
